Though this place is only outdoor dining and can get a little warm. To me if they have fresh food, natural juices and fresh baked goods it's deserves 5 stars. We need more places like this. Great for lunch if you work in a stuffy office and want to get out and be in the open. Prices are reasonable for fresh food.

Absolutely love this granola little bistro! Everything is simple, delicious and fresh. I love the carrot, Apple, ginger juice! And the hummus sandwich on toasted multigrain. Also, the desserts are all fantastic only to be enjoyed at their outdoor covered eating area. Come check this lil gem out!!!

This place never disappoints! I have ate here over 30+ times (I work in the area) and every time the food has been delicious and fresh! The services is great as well! Yes, it's cash only but it's well worth it and they have an ATM on location. Definitely try their banana bread, the best I've had!

I never really liked garbanzo beans before visiting Harvest Moon-- but it really is a special ingredient featured in most of their salads and they make hummus RIGHT! Best hummus I've ever had. I had a tuna melt and fell in love. Their melts are made to almost resemble a pizza, and are easily mistaken for one. All fresh ingredients for a great price. Only downfall? Cash only. But you do get plenty of bang for your buck! Dont skip out on the hummus appetizer.

Omg suuuuuuper yummy!!!!!! I wanted something different for lunch... the service was great & very fast! Good to know that there are other things to eat in Hialeah other than Cuban food lol. Will most definitely be returning... The Black Bean Melt & Turkey Melt were absolutely delicious!!! I can't wait to go back & try something different off the menu :)

This place was awesome! My girlfriend and I were in town and looking for lunch but wanted something not greasy. Found this place on yelp and was very pleased. Friendly staff, great fresh food, nice patio seating, and inexpensive for the quality of food! The staff was helpful with the menu, we got a hummus platter that fed 2, a gyro melt and a Santa Fe chicken wrap. All were great!

One of the best places I've eaten by far. I have literally eaten here every day this week I just wished I had known about it sooner. All melts are good. The salads look good. Wraps are good. Service not bad. Bring cash, but they do have an ATM.

Try the Black Bean Chicken melt and the strawberry/banana/coconut milk/honey smoothie! Delicious!

I really enjoy coming to Harvest Moon. From time to time it could get packed during lunch time but it is well worth the wait. The staff are so nice and attentive to your needs. Their Melts are to die for!

After several visits here this place is a great find. Pretty greenery wrap around the entrance and there you are in a large patio area with plenty tables and chairs. When you go inside to pick up or take out wow it literally is two small counters, a register and a small sweet case where today this lemon cake was starring me down to buy a piece. Agh I resisted. Not sure I ever can resist again. They only accept CASH. Keep that in mind. There is an ATM there but today I went to pick up a large order for my office and had my company credit card that's not a debit card. Luckily I had plenty cash otherwise I would have been quite embarrassed. Ok let's see the food, smoothies and juices are quite delightful. The food is prepared fresh with fantastic fresh ingredients. They offer salads, sandwiches, soups. Panini's, and melts. They have various breads to choose from which are all excellent. Today I shared a chicken Caesar melt that comes with a Caesar salad. It had diced chicken with melted mozzarella cheese. It was on a pita open face. It was very good. The staff loved everything they ordered. They are super pleasant, quick and very reasonable prices. 8 people for lunch was $82. You can call your order in and they have it ready very quickly, Excellent fresh food and juices! Lovely gem! Glad your walking distance.

Black bean melt is amazing here. My favorite part of this place is its not unhealthy. You leave there feeling really satisfied and not disgusting. Oh and there hummus is to die for!

This is my go to lunch spot when I play golf in Miami Springs Golf Course or have a job that's remotely close to Miami Springs. I've tried many dishes here but my go to is always the turkey melt on a wheat pita. I bounce back and forth between the tuna melt, Giro melt, & my favorite the turkey melt. For first time visitors I would definitely recommend you start by ordering their melts; they are made to order & taste incredibly fresh. The melts come with a side salad that's accompanied by the house dressing (sweet vidalia onion dressing), delicious! I like this place so much that I'm considering purchasing a property close by so I don't have to drive 35 miles to get here!

Delicious melts. I have tried several one's and they never disappoint. Today I tried the Mexican melt the salad that comes with it had black beans in it. Which it paired so good with the romaine lettuce, corn and a honey mustard dressing. The gyro, meatball melts are superb. P.S. take cash they don't have a credit card machine.

Love this family owned place!! So many delicious foods and I never feel guilty about eating. Super fresh salads and "melts". Wait to be seated after ordering!!! Also, desserts always look delicious but I've never had them :(

Harvest Moon is hands down one of my all time favorite places to eat. I used to work not far from here and at that time I would go at LEAST twice a week. I don't think I've ever been to a place where EVERYTHING I've tried is good, but this place has NEVER disappointed me. First of all, I am obsessed with soups. I know that this is Miami and most of the time its 92 degrees, but I don't care. Mushroom and tomato bisque are probably my favorites here. I would never consider myself to be "healthy" as far as my food choices, but the salads here are AMAAAAZING. I never actually craved a salad, but the ones from here are the exception. My favorite is probably the southwestern or Mediterranean. Now the melts. God help you. I think I've tried all of and they are ALL DELICIOUS. But if I had to pick just one thing to eat from here, it would be the black bean melt. OMG. soooooo good. Tuna melt is a close second. They serve all their melts with a small side salad and it just makes it all that much better. What else? Their smoothies and juices are delicious as well. And they always have different little desserts going on. Last time I went I had their giant chocolate chip cookie and before that I had these tiny little crispy chocolate chip cookies. Both just melted in my mouth. If you go during lunch on a weekday, it will always be packed, but I find they move quickly. Now, I go on Saturdays, and no matter what time I go there is always still a fair amount of ppl. I see the owners every once in a while and they could not be sweeter. Overall, I LOVE THIS PLACE. I would happily eat from here every single day for the rest of my life. PS CASH ONLY

What a great spot! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cute. I highly recommend the black bean melt. The only downside is that it's entirely outdoor seating and in the Miami heat it can become unbearable. They do have most fans blowing all the time though :) I will definitely back. Such a great lunch spot.

  • Emily H.

Everything is super fresh on the menu. I dont know if their daily specials are different every time... but my fiance and I went recently and it was a real nice lunch atmosphere, the menu has a lot of ooptions that are decently priced. You have to pay cash so I suggest bringing cash to here prior.. but even if you don't they have an ATM there for you.

We were looking for a burger joint but it wasn't there. So we parked and had two places in eyesight. An Italian joint and Harvest Moon Bistro. Yelp said both were good but Harvest Moon had more reviews. So we leaned right and rolled into HMB. As soon as we found the door and the line was 10 deep we knew it was the right choice. Gyro was solid. Meatball sub really good...grinder style with everything stuffed inside. Greek salad was yummy. It had a few extra things like garbanzo beans. Tomatoes were epic. Home grown super ripe WOW tomatoes. Finally the turkey melt was phenomenal. Everyone wanted more but we were only allowed one bite each. Make sure you try the smoothies and chocolate chip cookies. Both yummy! Best comment Just think...if Siri had been right we wouldn't have found this place. That was the best Turkey melt I ever had!

Came to this place for lunch during my visit to Miami and this place was absolutely perfect. Delicious, inexpensive and great service. Also, bonus for the outdoor patio something I've grown to appreciate as a Bay Area native. Another thing that I loved about this place is that it sits at the epicenter of a friendly quiet neighborhood. Awesome place to meet friendly locals. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Great salads and sandwiches, really big portions and good prices. The bad part, they only take cash

  • Noramy A.

Best melt I've ever had.. It was actually my first time at harvest moon. Alex margolis was very helpful and suggested the black bean melt! And a strawberry banana smoothie. My first bite... I was in heaven! All flavors sat well with each other! Also the outside environment is great! Definitely going back!

I just recently started yelping, so I only have one check-in so far at this place. The truth is I would be a regular here considering I've visited 20+ times. Their food selection is very good including the appetizers. I personally LOVE the hummus appetizer with hot pita bread slices and so has every single person that has tagged along. They also have daily specials and by far my favorite is the Mediterranean Melt which comes with couscous, feta, pesto, chicken and some few other goodies. The fruit smoothies are GREAT and I have one almost every time I go (strawberry,banana,pineapple... a tip the Large is only $0.50 more). Great place thats family owned, but the only bad thing is that it's cash only (ATM machine right next to the register though).

  • V G.

The quinoa salad was amazing. I couldn't eat it all in one sitting and was lucky to be able to enjoy the second half later in the day. PLEASE consider adding it to your regular menu. I will be back for more when it's available again!!

I've eaten here a few times with my family. Great food and their fruit smoothies/shakes are pretty good. We usually check this place out 2-3 times a year, mainly around the holidays. Their prices are pretty fair from what I recall, and there's a friendly ambiance about it. Make sure you bring cash with you though, as they do not accept credit/debit cards. However, there is an ATM available in the even you forget your cash at home. Another thing to note (but not a huge deal) is that it's all outdoor seating and you have to go up to the counter to place your orders (don't be like us sitting around the tables waiting for a server lol). My personal favorites are their sandwich wraps and their fruit smoothies (any of them. They're all great).

I was disappointed with my meal here given the positive reviews this place had. Perhaps my experience was colored by the fact that I am a vegetarian and did not try any of their meats, but I found the food to be flavorless and unsatisfying. I had the veggie sandwich which didn't had much substance to it. I felt like I was just eating a tomato and romaine letuce sandwich. The person I went with ordered the Greek wrap which was equally unexciting. There was more flavor but it was mostly just the sourness of the olives and grape leaves without anything to balance it out. Besides the food being uninspired, I was very turned off by how the staff treated my family. This was our first time here so we took extra time to decide what we wanted. We sat down at one of the tables while we decided what we wanted and the waitresses made a very big deal that we couldn't sit down at a table until we ordered at the register. I would understand this pushiness if the place was packed, but there were plenty of empty tables. I found the way that they approached the situation to be antagonistic and unfriendly. In summary the food itself was bland enough that I wouldn't bother coming back. On top of that the service left me with a negative vibe making me feel unwelcome. I would keep my expectations low for this place. The rating isn't one because their food was still fresh and edible; it just didn't seem worth eating.

Great wraps and open face melts. I love the black bean melt. It's way better than it sounds. And black beans are just one of the many ingredients on this popular open face melt. Nice garden outdoor setting. No AC but they have lots of fans and it's under a big tent. Great attentive service although they don't have waiters in the traditional way. You order & pay indoors but someone brings out your food and gets you utensils, water, etc. Will be back for sure.

  • Juan L.

Only letdown but not reason enough for us to keep coming back is the owner/manager's attitude. Closed on Sundays so be aware.

They have really good sandwiches and great shakes. The melts we ordered were delicious, I got the ham and cheese and my boyfriend got the black bean chicken one. Both were delicious!

  • Cristin R.

If I'm rating this resto relative to Hialeah alone, it deserves 15 stars. Compared to regular Miami dining, I will give it a 4. The service is attentive and helpful. The salads are big. The best thing here are the pita melts. I always go for Black bean chicken but specials are always good too. This is the best lunch place in the area. Healthy and delicious.

  • Nadia R.

Honestly, I love this place but I recently placed an order and when my food arrived I noticed a huge difference. The veggie melt waws basiclly couscous on pita brad, minimal cheese and veggies (I counted three tomato pieces). My smoothie lemoade strawberry and peach smoothie had vanilla added (not requsted) and I tasted mango? The vegetable and bean soup had no beans eitheir. For their price I expect much better.

Great healthy Mediterranean wraps and salads and the juices are great too. It just pisses me off that they are CASH ONLY. Please change that, we are in the year 2014.

The owners really care about the food they serve and it shows, the quality and freshness of ingredients are alway consistent. Harvest Moon has great salads at very reasonable prices.

Excellent lunch dive. Food is prepared fresh and all the plates have a healthy take to them. I frequent this place weekly and this is the first time I get to prepare a review. Their service is exceptional as well. Tip: Get there early before the local lunch crowds. It is also outside dining so if your dressed it may not be too comfortable in the summer. Although it is shaded.

  • Jenny A.

I love this place. It's a little bit hidden and there isn't very much parking but the food and the service is GREAT!! I usually order the black bean chicken melt and it's awesome!! Ps. Bring Cash. They don't accept cards, but they have an atm.

A great little place that serves wraps, sandwiches, soups, baked goods, etc. They also serve smoothies - yum! I'm always looking for healthy alternatives close to home, and I'm happy to add Harvest Moon to my list. If this place was in a more central/trendy location (i.e. Midtown, the beach, etc.), it would get tons of traffic! I had the Mediterranean Wrap and loved it! The portion was perfect, and it was actually HEALTHY (not "healthy" as in protein and veggies, but drenched in dressing/sauce)! I was also able to sample one of their soups and thought that was great too! The set up is really cute - it's tucked away behind a garden gate blanketed in vines. Sets of iron tables decorate the patio area where you sit at. Their bathroom is so adorable - gives me a very Key West feel! This place screams mom and pop store all the way! I will definitely be coming back to Harvest Moon. It's perfect for a nice lazy lunch - but beware they are closed on Sundays. It's also a cash only establishment, but they have an ATM inside for those of you like myself who live off a debit card!

    (4)
  • Daniel J.

Awesome. It's outside seating but don't worry they have fans spraying mist so you get to keep cool while waiting. The food came out very quick so that was a big plus the only disadvantage was that they lack the means of taking a credit card as payment. There is an ATM if u find yourself without cash. Me and the missus enjoyed it very much so we will be back.

I have tried just about everything they have to offer and counts be happier been going here for the past 10+ years :) I can say I love this place.

Food: Good Service: OK Sense of community: Zero I am very disappointed, it really reflects on the person who doesn't have a sense of treating animals or other businesses in their community right. They have done neither.

Went in on July 4th. Great casual spot. Food didn't blow me away but the proximity and friendly service is a plus.

I have been to this place many many times. Although the food is somewhat pricey, the food is healthy, fresh, made to order and consistently delicious. This is my favorite Saturday lunch spot. Very simple place with outdoor seating only that's sure to please. My favorite is the artichoke melt or the black bean melt. Their peach smoothie is Delicious too!

  • Ash R.

Has been one of my fav places to eat for over 7 years. I typically always eat a melt, salad and a delicious smoothie. Pricing is good considering you're getting fresh ingredients and fresh made to order food. Very simply cozy little gem in Miami Springs. Recently had a new juice which was okay. It's growing on me. Try them out!

    (5)
  • Mayra S.

I come here quite often. Very tasty food. Caesar melts are my go to. The only downside is how the owners treats there employees. It's just appalling. For that I give them a low score

    (2)
  • Daniel R.

One of Miami's hidden gems! Every salad and flat bread here is delicious! Our company has been ordering delivery and come to eat here for years and everyone loves it. The southwest salad and the black bean chicken melt are my favorites. The humus is a must have appetizer

    (5)
  • Jenny D.

I had the most delicious Greek salad there. It was HUGE! So the portions here are very generous. Could definitely have fed two people, well. If you're in the Miami Springs neighborhood for lunch, definitely check this place out. They also have wraps, sandwiches & desserts.

Haven't been here in a while, but I remember trying their Southwestern Salad and it being delicious. Looking forward to going back.

One of my favorite lunch spots! They're soups and salads are the best. It's cash only so make sure to come prepared with your own cash or to use their ATM.

Always fresh. Wish they would take something other than cash, because I always forget. But the food is consistently good!!

    (5)
  • Lianna G.

I love the food here but the manager (I believe it was) was so rude. I understand that it was busy but she was giving faces and talking rudely the entire time. Such a shame.

    (2)
  • Vanessa J.

Make sure that the first time you come in is on a Thursday so that you can try their Picadillo Wrap :) Picadillo, rice, and fried plantains. It's sooo delicious. I've also had their Mediterranean wrap with chicken and veggie couscous. It's outstanding. Their chicken caesar wrap which I chose on a tomato flavored wrap, was awesome! Their hot cheese melts are also yummy if you're in the mood for something different. It's a pita with ham and melted cheese on top with this awesome sauce... to die for. This place is fantastic. Oh and, cash only!

  • André A.

This is a much needed establishment for the Hialeah area. It's hard to find anything but Latin food, sports bars and cuban pizza (just no) around Hialeah and so this was great. I had the Greek melt which was very filling for the price. The salad was well made and the dressing was very good. I'd recommend this place to get away from the mofongo and chicharrones.

    (4)
  • Camille C.

I got a Chicken Caesar melt and it was so good! I didn't expect it to look kinda like a pizza with the Caesar salad in the middle but I love that it wasn't your typical sandwich melt! The Caesar dressing was the best I've ever had actually and the veggies were really fresh. My bf had the artichoke melt which wasn't on the menu, she just mentioned it cause he's vegetarian and he loved it! Low prices, 7$ avg for a good healthy meal

  • Cristina G.

I go to Harvest Moon when I want a delicious, rather healthy meal, and most importantly when I want to get away from the hustle and bustle of my busy city. I always order the black bean chicken melt with the Caesar salad. Its awesome. The price is very reasonable in my opnion. I pay just a couple of bucks less at Mickey D's, and its fast icky food. I love the quaint atmosphere. Its almost as if I have traveled outside Miami. Yes, it can get hot sitting outside, but I find the tarp, trees, and fans are enough to enjoy a quick meal. I think I am going again tomorrow.

    (5)
  • Jessica C.

I really enjoy coming to Harvest Moon. It's small and simple, nothing fancy here. They have good salads, melts, soups and sandwiches. My favorite is definitely their melts, specifically the chicken caesar and tuna. They also have a good selection of all Arizona teas. The atmosphere is laid back, order in a small room and sit outside and wait for your food. The staff is nice for the most part and the service is pretty quick. My biggest complaint with Harvest Moon is their hours! they're closed on Sundays and early during the week. The only time I really get to enjoy this place is Saturday afternoons. Oh, and they only accept cash!

    (4)
  • Jesus R.

What's not to like? Everything is delicious, fresh and healthy. EVERYTHING! The smoothies are yummy as well. You have to bring cash, and if in the rush time, patience, because seating is at a premium. And why wouldn't it, with the nice, fresh courtyard seating they have. It can set you back a bit as well, but it's worth every penny. Tip the bus people!

  • Ricardo D.

Very fresh, delicious and well-portioned food! A hidden gem! I've had the Mediterranean salad with chicken and their schawarma salad, both very very good!

Meatball Melt is fantastic! Great quick casual lunch spot especially when the weather is nice. Very friendly and accommodating staff. It was my first time here and hopefully it won't be my last! Delicious strawberry, banana, pineapple smoothie!

This place is great and extremely reasonable! CASH ONLY though, they have an ATM next to the cashier but still. Fantastic fresh healty food with nothing over $9

    (4)
  • Oscar G.

Fabulous food, service, atmosphere, and location. I suggest you car pool since parking can be a bit complicated. The place promotes healthy dishes that range from Mediteranian to a mix of Texmex and Cuban to tropical American. Plan on feeling good and guilt free with a little cash left over. Cash only but ATM on premise.

    (5)
  • Daniel B. O.

Best Chicken Salad Sandwich I've had in my life... I've only ordered this cause its really good. Make sure you take cash cause its a cash only business.

    (5)
  • David G.

It seems that they forget something every time they deliver. There isn't much on their menu that I like, so when the office wants to order it, I'm stuck. I'm already upset about eating at this place and then they always forget something too. And.. they only take cash. It's they year 2013. What's up with that?

Delicious salads, wraps, soups, and smoothies. I absolutely love eating here. If I could afford to eat lunch here everyday I would. All of the food consistently tastes fresh and all of the staff there are always so nice and welcoming.

I met a friend here for lunch today and I was so impressed! Even though this is a little bit of a drive for me, I see myself coming back for sure! This is a family owned place and they are only open for lunch. There is only outside seating, but it's covered and they have fans that spray mist. The food is so fresh and has such great quality! The staff is very friendly, too. I had the Greek salad and added chicken for $2 extra. The salad is HUGE and comes with stuffed grape leaves, cucumbers, feta, tomatoes, romaine and toasted pita. I am picky about my lettuce, I like it to be very fresh and green; this definitely was. I'll be back to try their melts that my friend told me were amazing. Very reasonably priced!

  • Manuel Q.

I've lived near this place for many years and never really knew it was a restaurant until I got on Yelp. Good thing I did, because it's my go to place for lunch most of the times. I like everything about it... Great food, good service and at a good price. If you haven't gone you should definitely check it out!

  • Ray R.

If you visit here, dine in. Bring cash, no credit accepted but a bank machine is available inside. Service is good but lunch time is very busy. The atmosphere is great with hydrating fans to keep you cool on hot days. The food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

I just LOVE Terry and Perry and you can tell they love their customers. The food is extraordinary considering the micro kitchen they work with. It border lines as miraculous. Been coming here since it opened and I hope they have a long and prosperous future. Oh, did I mention - healthy, healthy healthy but oh soo tasty? 5 star Bistro

    (5)
  • Jasmin M.

CASH ONLY! Food is fresh & portions are large. Food is pricey however it's gourmet. Seating is outside, on a hot day NO BUENO. Beware of bug flying while eating. It's in Miami Springs in the circle old part of town. If in the area for lunch stop you won't be disappointed.

I discovered this place through a friend of mine who works close by and I've thoroughly enjoyed the various times I've come here. Their menu is pretty straightforward- wraps, salads, melts, and sandwiches- all fresh and made to order. They also usually have a soup and sandwich of the day. During my last rendez-vous at Harvest Moon I tried the Black Bean melt and absolutely loved it. It came with black beans, red onions, corn, grilled chicken, and cheese, all nicely toasted on a pita. Think of a small pizza but with pita instead of dough and you got yourself a Harvest moon melt!! It comes accompanied my a caesar salad which is my only complaint. First off, I think a caesar salad and a black bean melt don't really compliment each other too well. Second, the salad had an overwhelming amount of dressing, so much so that I had to leave half of it on the plate. This has happened on two different occasions as well so it wasn't a one time deal. I've also had their salads which are plentiful and flavorful. The middle eastern salad is pretty amazing and comes with a nice assortment including hummus, grape leaves, and pita. And if they ever have the carrot puree soup as the soup of the day make sure you get yourself a bowl- trust me, don't share, you'll want your own!!!

This is one of my favorite healthy restaurants in Miami. The food here is really tasty! I've tried the gyro melt, black bean melt, and Turkey melt. All of them were delicious.

This is another one of those places that if it was located in some "cool" spot instead of time warped Miami Springs, it would have over fifty reviews and it would be covered in sex juices due to all the people loving it Harvest is set in an old service station and has covered outdoor seating with plants and fans so it stays cool As their website says, the food is "healthy and fresh, where the finest of ingredients are selected and served in the form of soups, salads, sandwiches, and daily specials. The husband and wife team welcome you as if you were family. Your food is prepared to order with passion, love, creativity, and served up with a smile. After tasting the food, you will be already contemplating your next visit." all that with nothing over $8.25 They are not lying

Excellent fresh gourmet salads! The hummus is great too!!!!! Reasonably priced.

This is a great casual lunch place. The seating is open air, which is perfect for Miami's great weather. However, it's also shielded from the rain, so you can enjoy a great meal while enjoying the occasional thunderstorm. The staff is friendly and informal, and the food is fresh and delicious. Just make sure you bring cash! They have an ATM but the interest rate is of course very high.

I started going here with my boyfriend/fellow yelper Tony C. I love this place. It's in the Circle of Miami Springs so to speak, and it looks and feels like a little town that isn't part of Miami. They recently added one of those covers outside and they even had a guy playing guitar and singing this past Saturday. If you have never been, the cover outside is a big deal because the place only seats outside and even though they have fans when it's hot you couldn't really feel them and when it rained you had to hide under the little bit of shelter they had, now NO WORRIES! Eat, feel the fans and enjoy your food. Oh yeah, so let me get to the food. I've only been here about 3 times and I always seem to get the same thing, the black bean chicken melt. It's bedded on a pita bread cut into four delicious slices, it has chicken, black beans, corn, red onion, red pepper, herbs and cheese, what more can you ask for? In the middle of the plate they place a Caesar salad that is so fresh, I can't explain, every time which have only been 3 times, I can't complain, the dressing they use is Delish and they give you just enough that you don't feel like you have to ask for it on the side. I definitely have to try something else next time, but it's so hard to resist the black bean chicken melt ;) If you go make sure to take Cash, this is a cash only place and even though they do have an ATM inside, it's super old and sometimes gives problems, don't fear there is a Bank in walking distance but it's easier to just come prepared.

I love love LOVE Harvest Moon! I come here whenever I visit my sister in Miami Springs. It is located on a little corner so it's the perfect place to sit and eat. All seating is outside, but even if its raining it is covered so no worries there. Sometimes, they have someone outside playing either a guitar or steel drums. Their servers are very friendly and helpful. It is a small family owned business so everyone seems to know each other. It's a very homey place. The food is fantastic and fresh. Very healthy but yummy selections. The parking is a little odd since you have to park in the back of the adjacent building, but it's fairly easy to find. It can get pricey if you order multiple things (each item is about $8). They are CASH ONLY, but there is an ATM inside. I definitely recommend eating here!

Great local place for fresh food! We got there for lunch at 11am, the time they open, people started to come in!!! Had a Mediterranean Salad, that was great and a Chicken Sandwich with Golden Raisins... yumi!!!! It's a very small place, it's incredible how many people work at this place in such restricted space!! cash only!! Their food is REALLY fresh, would eat it all the time!! Where else in Miami can you get salads like these??

This place has huge portions of ultra fresh food. The middle eastern salad was excellent! The restaurant is a great stop for carnivores and vegetarians. We live in Brickell and will definitely make the trip back to Harvest Moon.

It's definitely growing on me... I recently started frequenting Harvest Moon during lunch rush hour because it's literally a skip and a hop away from where I work. But this relationship is flourishing at a mellow pace... The first time I attempted to have Harvest Moon was when I found out that they delivered. Sweet! I thought, and even though I called 10 minutes before they opened, they were ready to take down my order. When I thought I was all set, the person on the other end informs me that "uhmmm...yeah I forgot to mention, there's a $25 minimum for all delivery orders"...!!!!!...YO, WTF? I get it, sometimes you gotta set a minimum but let's not get carried away by being overly pretentious. I decide to suck it up and drive. It'll be ready in 15, so I showed in 30. Place was already packed! when I inquired about my order they tell me that it isn't ready...unbelievable! Dude keeps calling me "Moula?" "NO...P A U L A!"...it literally took him 15 minutes to make the connection and find my lost order. So all and all I thoroughly enjoy the food, you can taste the fresh produce in every bite and their daily's are original and enjoyable... UNFORTUNATELY, it seems like this is one of those places that thrives in making themselves somewhat unaccessible... c'mon now! you aren't fooling anybody! I see the lines around the block and you've been open long enough to know that lunch is your busiest hour, so either hire competent/professional people, get yourself a couple of drivers, pay to accept credit cards and design a better system for an effective experience....because we all know that no matter how high the quality of the product, if it doesn't walk hand in hand with the quality of the service...:shakes head:

I don't remember what exactly I had for lunch, but the split pea soup was probably the greatest split pea I have EVER had. Don't waste your money on getting a bottled drink because the smoothies are worth splurging on. Anyway, if split pea is on the menu, you NEED TO get it. You should also probably know that this place does take a little time so don't try to come here if you are just going in and out.

  • Benjamin Z.

This place is extremely bland and over priced. I asked for no cheese on my santa fe chicken wrap and they put cheese and neglected to put dressing on. The side of veggie couscous was edible to say the least. If you like bland food try this place. Publix makes way better wraps, however.

Fresh food, so many delicious things on the menu. The smoothies and juices are amazing, the only downside is that it's cash only. There's an ATM inside just in case you forget.

DON'T FORGET CASH!!! Why must you only be open Monday through Saturdays? I can only come one day a week since you are too far from my work for lunch and not open for dinner. Open another location near Miami Lakes, we will appreciate it very much! Tons of great outdoor eats up here. I love the concept, the service and all your amazing FOOD! Even the vegetarian selects and I'm not a vegetarian. If it's your first time definitely try a flatbread and a fruit smoothie of your choice, you will be 100% satisfied. Enjoy! (:

My favorite lunch time eatery in Miami!!! Great prices for the amount and quality of the food. Smoothies are yummy (the orange creamsicle brings back memories of the ice cream truck flinstone orange push-up pop, how can you pass it up!) I recommend any of the daily specials or any of the melts (gyro is my fav.) are great and filling. Desserts are all homemade and delish! Saturday there is live music. Don't attend this joint if you are in a rush...sit back relax and enjoy good healthy food. Quaint atmosphere, Not open Sundays...because people need a day off! Super nice owners, Don't miss the daily Bible verse on the specials menu. If you want a good lunch that's good for you and you want to support your local "mom and pop" shops this is the place to go!

Everything they sell and make here is fresh and healthy! Which is good because there are too many obese people nowadays (I just want what's best for them). I always get the spinach wrap with ham, cheese, and whatever else they put in there...I trust them, so I know they wont put anything bad. I remember when this place opened up the first time and to see it now with all their regulars is really cool. Everyone is nice and friendly, the pricing is normal, and the atmosphere is really mellow and laid back. I will come here again in about an hour because I just got hungry for the wrap.

Excellent Service and the food is top notch, fresh and healthy, without being bland or without flavor. Smoothies are kick ass, tasty as hell. The waitresses are fast and efficient but super nice and approachable My only problem is that on hot days, it's kind of hard to sit outside and eat, even under the beautiful shade with all those great plants around. The other thing is that they to be open ONLY on lunch hours, which is OK, but I wish I could grab dinner there on occasion at least on the weekends!

I'm a huge fan of Harvest Moon! The restaurant's Meatball Melt is absolutely delicious! It's reasonably priced and they open at 11. I believe they don't take credit cards, but have an ATM inside just in case you need cash.

I was introduced to this place a couple days ago and fell in love. The service was friendly and quick and the food fresh and delicious! I ordered the gyro melt and it was fantastic. The melt was cut into four wedges with a bit of greek salad in the center. The accompanying dressing was tasty as well. I also had a carrot apple juice that was just the right size. My friend had the soup special ,a carrot curry, that I tried and would definitely order next time. An undiscovered secret in Miami Springs, great for a longer lunch followed by a stroll down Curtis Parkway, you'll feel miles away from Miami.

I came across this place when I was invited to lunch recently. It is a cute place and it's perfect for a lunch date with friends! Very reasonable prices. The food is fresh and delicious and they have a good variety of healthy food! My only complaint is that the Cesar salad had a little too much dressing. Tip: they do not accept credit/debit cards, so take cash!

I was introduced to Harvest Moon back in 2003 when I was working at Miami Springs Senior High. My co-workers were obsessed with KFC, McDonalds, or the fast food section of the Milams. I ended up discovering this little gem after being tired of eating at Bangkok Sushi (yes, I know, how could I have gotten tired of sushi?) I tried a handful of items on the menu, all were delicious, but one stood out since I had it and I've stuck to it to this day: The black bean chicken melt (not sure if that's the official name). This is basically a toasted pita bread with chicken, black beans and other veggies, cheese and an oh so special dressing on top. Surrounding the pita is a fresh caesar salad with that special dressing which makes it irresistable. This place is tiny. There's only seating outside (covered) but I've yet to have an unpleasant experience. Heat/humidity has never affected me here though. I love these cozy places. The ONLY downside I can see is that they do not accept credit cards (last time I went was maybe a month and a half ago or two). I rarely carry cash on me so this is a big negative. They have this flimsy ATM which works half the time and charges you a fee even when it doesn't work. I have to cross the street to the other bank to get some cash. It's just a mission. But even with this inconvenience (which I would normally rule a place out) I keep going because it's just a great experience every time. Very highly recommended!

food, service and portions are good. you have to eat here. the food is always fresh and it is good quality. Just good food you wont feel guilty about afterwards, worth the drive from anywhere.

This place is so delish! Everything on the menu is amazing and healthy! Service is friendly and fast. They only have outside seating. Perfect place to go for brunch on a beautiful sunny day.My favorite dish is the gyro melt. Not cheap but not pricey... they're close by 3pm and are not open on Sundays.

  • Adam C.

This place is just about average. The smoothies are very good, but the entrees could be better. Nothing screams home made about this place. I've had the greek melt platter, or something to that effect. It was slices of pita with melted cheese and a slice of gyro meat. Meh. Service is good, though. Now if they had a beer and wine license, and converted this place to a beer garden, now you're talking! Alas, no booze.

If u are looking for a healthy alternative to fast food, then u definetely need to try this place. They specialize in everything from tuna wraps, to freshly made smoothies. It's a small bistro, but the taste of the food and the service is great!. I've been here on the weekends, but try to make it before 1pm, otherwise it will be hard to find a place to seat. It's outdoors, so u get to relax and have a great meal

An amazing locally owned bistro right on the circle of Miami Springs! It was a great little lunch find and totally packed with locals - always a good sign! Portions are generous, service is friendly. The outdoor patio seating is great!

I've been going to Harvest Moon ever since high school. The place is the size of dentist's office, but it makes up for it in the outdoor seating area. They only take cash, no credit cards so be prepared. I've always stuck and probably will stick with, the Chicken Cesar Pita Wrap. It's PHENOMENAL. They give you this delicious sauce to add on top of your pita, which is already adorned with fresh, hot chicken and melted cheese with rommaine lettuce and croutons. The portion itself is perfect for one person. I always order an orange and carrot juice to go along with it. They actually make it for you right there and they have an extensive juice list to choose from. Next time you are by the circle on Miami Springs, stop by and grab a bite. You'll be driving out of your way to visit this gem.

Very good, fresh food, very quaint location, a gem hidden inside Miami Springs. Miami Springs is virtually unchanged since the 50's so it was refreshing to find this unexpected addition.

This place is insanely good. The food is fantastic, the service is friendly and helpful, it's cheap, the food tastes great and is creative and fresh, it's clean and finally the courtyard outside is very cute. I love this place. I had the mediteranean chicken wrap and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped here after a flight because it a pretty good reviews and it was close. Kind of a cool little place. The traffic off the main drag to get there is a pain but otherwise located near a nice circle drive by a park. The club wrap was tasty. I wish I had gotten two. Otherwise, chips, drink, and banana. Good little place.

Fresh food: soup, wraps, melts, salads, natural juices and smoothies. Everything is delicious! They also have fresh baked goods. Definitely try the artichoke melt, available most days as part of the specials, and the Middle Eastern salad. Generous portions and great seasoning. Who said healthy can't be delicious? The environment is great too - lots of plants, outdoor seating. Feels like going to a little bistro in Brooklyn. Parking is not great - but you can always use the city parking less than a block away (behind Westward Drive). Also, don't forget your cash - they don't take cards. Although, there is an ATM on the premises if you do forget, but there's a fee for withdrawing your money.

I love love love this place! I have yet to try something here that I do not care for. They have great food that is on the healthier side compared to most places. I usually order the tuna melt, but have tried many other things. I love there meatball sub, soups, and gyro melt as well. Everything here is freshly made. The smoothies and juices are a delight. I love the atmosphere...who would have thought an old gas station could be turned into a great little bistro. The service is very friendly, that they even know my husband by name (can you tell we love this place). They do not except credit cards here, but they do have an ATM so you will be able to get your grub even if you didn't bring the cash. This place is a bit expensive but the food is so good you can overlook that, although they did charge my friend $.53 for a teaspoon of extra dressing for her salad. The seating area is very cute covered by many bushes so you can barely see the street and the traffic, you almost feel like you are somewhere else. They also have some fans to keep the customer cool in the very warm months. -Melissa Marie

Smoothies are good had their wrap, eh...the daily creative food co.makes them better. They close earlier than normal restaurants so get there before 5. I'll give it another shot...try a specialty instead?

The food is always fresh and tasty. Very unique in terms of flavor and set up, I love this place. I would love it more and give it five stars if the lady cashier was not so nasty to her young employees. She yells at them and puts them down. I would say 40 percent of the time I go there she is in a bad mood and yelling. Please lady take it easy you have a great business, customers do not like to see employees being put down.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Miami. Fresh, affordable and patio seating make it a super crowd pleaser, so call ahead if you don't want to wait a while for lunch. Try their open tuna pita, served with a fresh salad and a really yummy onion dressing. Service can be a bit spotty as they have a system for ordering. Tip - order before siting and bring cash, they don't take credit cards,

I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat while I was in Miami Springs, thanks to Yelp, I found this place. It's probably the best lunch I've had in awhile! It gets crazy for lunch but it's worth the wait. As a matter of fact, I couldn't find a table and the line to wait is awkward because they have a tiny kitchen/ordering area which reminds me of the inside of a gas station. The line comes out of there and you're basically around everyone's food. Since I had to wait about 10 minutes to order and another 10 minutes to get my food, I got to see what everyone was eating and damn it, it ALL looked good. I got a vegetarian hot melt which was basically a flat bread with couscous, spinach, grilled onions, tomatoes and cheese. DELICIOUS! I'm only giving Harvest Moon 4 stars instead of 5 because of the disorganization that is this place. They should have a greeter telling you how to get a table, where to stand in line, etc.

When I arrived to Miami I remember eating here almost 4 times a week (work near), years after I continue to come here, LOOOVE their salads and smoothies, they also have melts that are kinda pizzas, they are tasty as well, everything is super fresh, the have lovely staff, the place is run by owners, their soups are amazing, I really hope there could be more places like this in Miami. I highly recommend their specials with soup n half sandwich or wrap. My favorite dishes here are: Spinach Salad, Southwestern Wrap, Carrott Soup, Mango Smoothie...and of course their homemade banana nut bread!!

Perry and Terry Margolis are great people! Harvest Moon is a jewel in our community. Friendly staff and delicious quality food. My favorite is the Tuna Melt and a Piña Colada smoothie. My wife and daughter love the Picadillo Wrap (but it's only available on Thursday). The outdoor seating is pleasant and relaxing. Warning: If you are on a diet, stay away from the Lemon Cake!!!!!

I love this place. They have my favorite salad ever, the southwestern. The melts are pretty good as well but the smoothies are amazing. Only bad thing I can say is that the prices are getting to pricey and there's isn't to much seating. Its like a hidden lunch garden.

I used to live in Miami Springs, and have been coming here since it opened. This place has an amazing fresh menu. It just keeps getting better. I don't know anyone that I've taken that hasn't become a regular, it's addicting. They always have daily specials, so ask before you order. They are also working on a wine and beer license, and might be opening at night soon for dinner. It's defenitely a must try, I promise you'll love it. Great salads, wraps, soups, fresh fruit smoothies and vegetable juices.

This place is soooooooo good. First off, it's in a nice neighborhood. The menu is simple and fresh. Everyone who works there are really nice and very attentive. If you like to sit inside restaurants, then I suggest you order take out since they only have outside seating. I suggest the Black Bean melt and Santa Fe wrap. I have yet to try everything on their menu. OH, and also their smoothies are incredible.

If I could give this place 10 stars, then I would definitely do so. I was introduced to it by a coworker and have been here everyday for a week. Everything I have tried on the menu is absolutely delicious!! *Cash only but they do have an ATM.

My favorite place to go to for a casual, healthy and refreshing lunch. I have been coming here ever since it opened (I grew up in the Springs) and have brought everyone I know to eat at Harvest Moon. It is definitely one of Miami's finest delights! You feel as though you are traveling back in time with the beautiful flowers and array of vines, old Miami Springs architecture, and community feel. Everyone is polite and treats you like family. Make sure you have cash handy, but if not they have an ATM inside with a decent service charge of $2.25. Don't miss out!!!

Well-sized portions, flavorful food and great service. What else could you ask for? As soon as I walked in a guy asked me if it was my first time and since it was, he quickly guided me through the menu I ordered to go: gyro wrap and one of their specials, the falafel salad. And please, do not think of a tasteless salad. Così buona, senza parole! Last but not least, great prices as well. Worth te visit!

You know when you enter the office with onion breath from having lunch, and feel slightly guilty for the person in the cubicle next to you? Well, this place makes onion breath worth it... Yeah, I said it. My boyfriend told me that he wanted to visit this place after his coworkers were raving about how delicious it was at the office. Me being selfish, bored, and hungry, decided to go with my mother while he was working.... And I'm glad I did. Firstly, it is not difficult to find parking. There is plenty of street parking in the area, however the entrance may be a little difficult to find. Do not feel intimidated as the staff is very friendly and excited to help. I will begin by saying that YOU MUST ORDER BEFORE YOU SIT & IT IS CASH ONLY! I know it may seem a little weird, but hey, respect the hustle. There are menus in the inside, and I recommend you know what you would like to order before you get in line. I ordered the gyro melt and my mother ordered the black bean melt- both were equally delicious. Consider these melts like little mini pizzas, made with love, too many toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. They definitely come highly recommended! I did not have a salad, but they looked large! We also had some freshly baked brownies that were slap-yo-momma good. Luckily, I didn't slap my momma. Although the portions were large, we did not leave feeling guilty or regretful. This is how I know the ingredients were fresh. By the way, do not forget to tip the kitchen staff and your server. They collect the tip differently. 4 stars only because it is cash only & has obscure hours.

EVERYTHING is good, have tried about 90% of their menu and have yet to dislike anything. I usually get the chicken cesar melt, yumm-o! Small place and lunch hour is PACKED, only down side.

  • Alex P.

To sum it up: The service was nice, the food was not worth the expensive price. I should have read some more info on the place before going. The place only takes cash. I won't return since I've been to better places that are much cheaper and have the same quality food.
